The Arts

The Antelope Valley Unified High School District is proud to offer arts education programs in all five disciplines: Dance, Music, Theatre, Visual, and Media Arts. Our students have access to strong Career Technical Education within the Arts, Media, and Entertainment Sector through pathways that integrate the arts and career preparation standards, providing a comprehensive and engaging educational experience. Each school site offers unique arts programs that highlight the talents of its students.

Our arts curriculum is designed to provide diverse and enriching opportunities for all students, regardless of their prior experience. We offer vibrant and supportive environments where students at various skill levels can genuinely grow, experiment, and flourish as creative artists.

Students are encouraged to explore innovative ideas, take artistic risks, and develop a unique personal voice and style. Students gain self-confidence and are given opportunities to showcase their work both to their school and the wider community. Our programs lay a strong foundation for continued study in post-secondary arts programs or for pursuing creative careers.
